"It's pretty safe to say that I'm a fan of the Phoenix. A Phoenix nut if you like. Already, I regard it as a classic up there with the likes of the 1176, LA-2A etc. Before too long, it became apparent that one unit wasn't going to be enough for my mixes as I found it to work exceptionally well with every style of music that I managed to throw at it. i.e. Hip Hop , Rock , Classical , Jazz etc..

While working on music for the GTA IV computer game, I found The Phoenix & The Phoenix MV completely indispensable and very musical as it tightened up the whole mix without squashing the living daylights out of everything. It's warm sound across individual channels on the console and the mix bus, really brought things to life. Parallel compression is just stunning with this unit too. A first class compressor."
