Al Stone

London based producer Al Stone, who’s been responsible for engineering and/or producing some of the UK’s landmark albums over the years such as The Stereo MC’s ‘Connected’, and ‘Return of the Space Cowboy’ for Jamiroquai, and Turin Brakes album ‘The Optimist’, Lamb’s Fear of Fours, and International work with Bjork’s ‘Debut’ and ‘Post’ albums. He has recently become a big fan of Thermionic Cultures, Culture Vulture stereo valve distortion unit and it’s featured heavily on a number of tracks that Al has mixed for the band 'Orson' where Al used it primarily on drums. The album is entitled ‘ Culture Vulture’, maybe it’s possible the band where so blown away with Al’s drum sounds that it inspired them to name the album after it!
